During my recent stay at a charming lodge in Newquay, I had a delightful experience. The location was superb, right in the heart of the city center. I appreciated the comfortable and clean room, complete with a TV and kettle. The ensuite bathroom was lovely and well-decorated. Plus, the friendly manager, Tom, was extremely responsive and accommodating to all my needs.

The value for my money at Palace Surf Lodge was excellent, with a clean and comfortable room. The location was perfect, right in the city center, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful.

The breakfast items could have been more varied and appetizing.

The room was basic but clean, and the owner/manager was very friendly. The price was great, especially for the location. It was just a short walk to the beach, shops, pubs, and restaurants. Plus, there was a convenient car park nearby where we could leave our car overnight for a reasonable fee.

Communication with the staff was a bit difficult as they were not always available. The room was missing some basic amenities like soap and sanitizer, and we found half-used toilet rolls.

The room I booked was clean and the location was great, being right in town and close to the beach. the wifi provided was also of good quality, which was a plus.

the room I was allocated had a foul odor and even opening the window didn't help. the staff could only offer air freshener as a solution, which was not acceptable.

Friendly owner, clean rooms, plenty of amenities like soap and towels. Easy to come and go, limited parking but free in the evenings. Would stay again.
